As many of you already know, our office covers the entire state. In an effort to become more familiar with the many different counties, our office has split the state into three regions:
As you can see from the map, the three regions are as follows:

Yolanda Fair, Assistant Juvenile Defender for the Western Region, has her home base in Buncombe County, and covers the Tennessee border east to Yadkin and Rowan counties

Terri Johnson, Assistant Juvenile Defender for the Central Region, has her home base in Iredell County, and covers counties from Surry and Union east to Warren, Johnston and Brunswick counties

Eric Zogry, Juvenile Defender, has his home base in Raleigh and covers counties from Nash ands Sampson to the coast
Our goal is to provide the best training, technical support, and policy guidance to the regions we serve. Our hope is to get to know the juvenile/youth defenders practicing in those regions and to develop a broader community in which we support the work we do.
