Join us for our 2026 Western Youth Defender Forum! Our regional forums are in person, day long trainings in your region. The training courses are identical in content and will have the same agenda, but will feature speakers and presenters from the specific region. Defenders are welcome to go to any forum that works best in their schedule, and we hope you join us for one of the trainings.
This year’s Forum theme is Negotiate and Litigate: Necessary Tools Training for Youth Defense. Defenders will learn effective negotiation strategies and tips for all phases of their cases. The training will also feature a trail skills section focusing on tools for the different common hearings in juvenile court. This course is expected to offer 6.25 hours of general CLE credit.
