As defenders, how do we handle and represent youth charged with contempt of court? What should defenders look for in these cases? What happens and what should we do if our clients are held in contempt while in court? Join Attorney Tom Morris as he delves into direct and contempt in juvenile court. He will provide practical tips and strategies to handle these cases.

Attorney Morris will cover both indirect and direct contempt. He will answer some of the common questions that defenders have in these cases including what defenders should look for and what they should do if a client is held in contempt while in court. This session will cover essential aspects that defenders should be aware of when navigating these cases. It will also give practical tips and strategies for successfully managing these challenging situations.
